01 — About the Project
Explorer studying paradigms in futuristic library laboratory
MISSION: To make paradigm literacy as common as digital literacy. We turn philosophy of science, cognitive science and foresight into practical tools.

We Map How Worldviews Change The World

Inspired by Thomas Kuhn’s Structure of Scientific Revolutions, Paradigm Explorer tracks anomalies — moments when old maps fail — and prototypes new ones. From quantum consciousness to decentralized societies, we go where textbooks end.

A / Lens

Deconstruct

We dissect dominant paradigms: materialism, growth economics, mechanistic mind. What do they hide? Whom do they serve?

B / Compass

Reimagine

We curate emergent paradigms: participatory universe, regenerative cultures, post-scarcity creativity, extended mind.

2016 — The First Map

Started as a reading club on Kuhn, Bateson, Bohm and Varela. First essay: “Your Brain is Not a Computer”.

2019 — Field Expeditions

Interviews with 120 scientists, mystics, founders and systems thinkers across 14 countries.

2023 — Paradigm OS Toolkit

Launched open framework: 36 mental models, reality-check canvases and future-scenario sprints.

2026 — Explorer Network

Today paradigmexplorer.net is a hub for 12,000+ explorers building prototypes of post-paradigm living.

04 — How We Explore

The Explorer Method

Not journalism. Not academia. Something in-between: rigorous curiosity + embodied experiment.

Explorer method map and compass
Step 1

Spot Anomaly

Find where old paradigm cracks: burnout despite productivity, AI hallucinations, ecological grief. Anomalies are portals.

Step 2

Map Lenses

Collect 5+ conflicting explanations — neuroscience, indigenous wisdom, complexity science, phenomenology. Hold them all.

Step 3

Live Experiment

30-day micro-pilots: digital sabbath, dream journaling, commons budgeting. Data from lived experience, not just papers.

Questions Explorers Ask

Explorer asking questions about paradigms
What is a paradigm, simply?

A paradigm is a shared lens — assumptions, values and methods that define what counts as real, possible and valuable. Science, business and culture all run on paradigms until anomalies break them.

Is this science or spirituality?

Both, and neither. We practice metascience: we respect peer review, but also first-person methods like meditation, dreaming and phenomenology. Truth needs multiple instruments.

Who is Paradigm Explorer for?

Founders, researchers, artists, educators, seekers — anyone feeling that old maps no longer fit new territory and wanting practical tools, not just theory.

How can I use your materials?

All frameworks on paradigmexplorer.net are free for non-commercial remix with attribution. Run workshops, start clubs, launch local expeditions.

How often do you publish?

2–4 deep field notes per month. We prefer slow, thorough exploration over daily hot takes. Quality over quantity, signal over noise.
